Original unopened 1993-94 Upper Deck Series 2 NBA Basketball factory-sealed box containing 36 packs. Produced during one of the most memorable periods in 1990s basketball, this issue features the stars and emerging players of an era that has become increasingly popular with collectors.Factory-sealed basketball boxes from the 1990s have developed into a collectible category of their own. While enormous quantities of cards were originally opened and distributed, the surviving population of intact, unopened boxes naturally declines over time as collectors continue to break boxes in search of high-grade cards, inserts, and stars. More than three decades after this product was issued, genuinely unopened examples have become increasingly desirable to collectors who value original, untouched material. The appeal of a sealed box goes beyond the individual cards it might contain. It represents a complete, unopened time capsule from the 1993-94 NBA season, retaining the excitement and uncertainty of the original packs. The continued popularity of 1990s basketball cards, combined with interest in unopened material, has made sealed boxes an especially active segment of the sports-card market.Contains 36 original unopened packs. An excellent addition for the basketball collector, unopened-box specialist, or collector seeking original 1990s NBA material with increasingly limited surviving sealed supply.
