HOW DOES IT WORK?

Soldster is your Opportunity Engine™. Basically, Soldster is a "leads management system" for filtering deals to you in a streamlined workflow automation process. There are two ways for you to profit as a Soldster Buyer Associate. Either way, we feed leads to you (we call this the "Lead Feed"™). Once you become a registered Soldster buyer partner, you select categories you wish to be active in. We then send you email notifications of all new leads within your categories. At its simplest, that is how Soldster helps you profit by getting new opportunities to buy.

The Lead Feed is the main way you will profit from your Soldster partner program. You will receive email notifications of all new leads generated within your chosen categories. When a seller fills out our Simple Sell form or calls our toll-free number, we store the information and feed these opportunities (aka leads) to you for your consideration. You use Soldster supply chain and lead management tools to respond to and manage these leads. If a lead is converted into a deal, Soldster provides tools for managing the shipping, receiving, and payment logistics. Soldster's goal is to become your Supply Chain Management System.

The second way to participate (and highly recommended but optional), is to maintain a list of items you wish to buy, along with corresponding prices you will pay. We call these "sight-unseen" offers. These pages are syndicated across our entire network of sites, and become a sort of "price guide" for potential sellers to refer to. If a seller wants to accept your offer, a point-and-click by the seller gets the lead into your inbox.

You can change your prices as often as you wish, and you can set up automatic review notifications to remind yourself to periodically review your "appraisal prices" to ensure you remain competitive.

If the price you pay depends on variables such as grade or color or quality, you state this in your buying requirements. When sellers visit our network of sites, including Soldster.com and over 100 other sites in the 2nd Markets network, they can search "buy pages" or they can fill out a simple form and request quotes. If they like your price and want to do business, they respond to your offer, which creates a new lead in your Soldster Leads Dashboard. You receive an email notifying you of a new deal. The seller receives a confirmation email describing next steps. From there, you deal directly with the seller. Soldster is not a middleman.



WHERE DO LEADS COME FROM?

We send leads to you in two ways: Published Prices and Organic Leads.

With Published Prices, you maintain a list of specific items you wish to buy, along with corresponding prices you will pay. We syndicate your price "appraisals" across our network of sites and on the Soldster.com main site. If a seller likes your price, they can "point-and-click" to notify you of their desire to accept your offer. That simple click event creates a new email in your inbox and a new lead in your Soldster Buyer Dashboard.

With Organic Leads, we filter pre-qualified sellers to you as they visit one of our many niche sites and request a "free appraisal." Soldster feeds these opportunities (sellers wishing to sell) to you for your consideration. When a seller requests a free appraisal in your category, his request is automatically forwarded to your Soldster Dashboard and you are notified via email.

You then log in to Soldster Dashboard and use Soldster automation tools to respond to and manage these leads. If a lead is converted into a deal, the Soldster Dashboard provides tools for managing the shipping, receiving, and payment logistics. Soldster's goal is to become your Supply Chain Management System.


WORKFLOW ANALYSIS

The workflow goes like this:

  • Create a Product Page (optional but highly recommended)
  • Set your "Sight Unseen Spot Price" (optional)
  • Set a Review Frequency for Periodic Review of your Offer Prices (optional)
  • Receive Leads
  • Confirm and Finalize the Deal
  • Make payment upon receipt of satisfactory goods
  • Use Soldster Escrow if you or the seller prefer

WHO CAN JOIN?

Buyer-Level Membership in Soldster's Automated Quotation System™ is restricted to full-time, licensed businesses and by invitation only during our Beta period. We do not need part-time weekend flea marketers, part-time ebayers, pickers, nor private individuals. The whole concept is to provide a database of full-time, professional buyers making fair and reasonable sight-unseen bids for specific items. This is strictly a supply-chain management system for serious, full-time businesses.


BUYER MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

There are three levels of Buyer participation in Soldster:

  • Basic: Pay-per-lead only. No monthly fee. Non-exclusive. May become locked out of your category at any time. Best for smaller firms.
  • Enterprise: Pay-per-lead plus monthly subscription. Non-exclusive. Monthly subscription fee gets you 100 free lead credits per month.
  • Market Maker: Monthly fee only. Exclusive. Monthly subscription fee grants you the exclusive franchise to a Soldster category during the term of your franchise agreement. Subscription fee includes unlimited leads within your category with no leads fee.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO JOIN?

The Soldster.com Automated Quotation System™ is in beta, and seeking partners. There is no cost to join and no cost to participate unless you choose to purchase a lead. Some buyers may decide to "lock" a category now, while Soldster is still in beta. Now is a great time to do that, and at an affordable price.
